Explore the upper Napa River starting from the Riverside Drive ramp next to the Napa Yacht Club. This 6 to 8 mile row is good for kayaks, canoes and pulling boats of all kinds. The Upper Napa is a tidal slough up to Trancas Crossing Park with a high tide, and once out of the urban area it is quite lovely with shady trees lining the banks.
